About McArthur
McArthur is a gentle, easy going 2020 bay gelding. He has been in training at Willow Creek Ranch since July 2022. In his time at the ranch, McArthur has been ridden outside extensively, and is a no drama easy ride whether he is alone or with other horses. He has been started on cattle and shows potential. He has the basic ranch riding maneuvers down, and could be successful in the reining with continued training. He is a happy go lucky, more woah than go, easy going type of gelding. He is not one that needs the hair ridden off him every day. While he is extremely athletic and has substantial performance potential, he does not mind keeping things slow and easy. McArthur is all around a fun horse to have in the barn. He is easy to catch, bathe, load, clip, tie, etc. He is currently being successfully shown in local ranch versatility events and gets noticed everywhere we take him.
